REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

            The County of Wise, Virginia will receive sealed proposals for the purchase of 7 vehicles of model year 2022/2023 for the Sheriff’s departments of the County. The proposal is requested to include purchasing two (2) four wheel drive, four door SUV vehicles with V6 engines, police package, police rated with road ready package and equipped and up-fitted as set forth in the specification sheet, two (2) four wheel drive pickup trucks with police package, non-pursuit and equipped and up-fitted as set forth in the specification sheet; one (1) four wheel drive pickup truck equipped and up-fitted as set forth in the specification sheet; one (1) four wheel drive pickup truck equipped and up-fitted as set forth in the specification sheet; one (1) four wheel drive pickup truck equipped and up-fitted as set forth in the specification sheet; one (1) full size Tahoe non-pursuit upfitted as set forth in the specification sheet; and one (1) unmarked transit PTV van T-250 as set forth in the specification sheet.

Time is of the essence for these vehicles.  Please provide projected delivery date as these dates will be used by the County to help determine which bids are most advantageous.

            Vehicle Bid packets with Specification Sheets may be obtained at the Wise County Administration Office; bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on March 20, 2023.  All questions regarding vehicles and specifications shall be directed to Michael W. Hatfield, County Administrator.

            All proposals are subject to the approval of Wise County, Virginia who absolutely reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals.
