County Vehicle Decals

County decals are due April 15 of each year, and go on sale when current year taxes are mailed.  The following information is required BEFORE issuance of county decals at Treasurer's Office or purchasing by mail:

1. All personal property and mobile home taxes must be paid.
2. Current Virginia registration or copy must be presented
3. Social Security number(s) or Federal ID of owner(s) whose name appears on the registration.
4. Price: $5.00

Town residents may purchase their town & county decals at their respective town if both town & county taxes have been paid.  Also, when town residents are purchasing decals at the Treasurer's Office, they must also bring a receipt of town decal or actual town decal.
