Wise County Board of Supervisors met in a Special Called
Meeting on Thursday, February 1, 2001, at 4:00 p.m. in the
Board of Supervisors meeting room located in the Wise County
Courthouse for the purpose of interviewing a prospective
candidate for the position of County Administrator.

Stallard advised that the Board would go into closed session
to interview a prospective candidate for the County Administrator's
position.
IN
RE: CLOSED
SESSION
A
motion was made by Robert Adkins, seconded by Betty Cornett,
to go into closed session to interview a prospective candidate
for the County Administrator's position as permitted by
section 2.1-344A.1 of the Code of Virginia.
The motion was unanimously approved.
After
a lengthy closed session, a motion was made by Donnie Dowell,
seconded by Betty Cornett, to reconvene its regular meeting.
The motion was unanimously approved.

A
motion was made by Donnie Dowell, seconded by Betty Cornett,
to approve the resolution verifying matters discussed while
in closed session.
The motion was unanimously approved by roll call
vote.

A
motion was made by Robert Adkins, seconded by Donnie Dowell,
to recess this meeting until Friday, February 2, 2001, at

The motion was unanimously approved.
